Peach Day's Mile Race

*****In order for someone to participate in the 1 Mile race we would highly encourage there be a parent/guardian there in case something happens to the child participating.  If you plan on running the 10K race then bring another adult that can watch over your child and make sure they participate safely in the race.  If a parent wishes to run along side there child in the race we ask that you stay on the outside of those participating so you don't interfere with them.*****

Race Date: Saturday, September 7, 2024

Place: Brigham City - City Center Plaza 58 North Main St.

Packet Pickup:  Brigham City - City Center Plaza 58 North Main

Start time: Right after the 10K and 5K have cleared the course.

Waiver of Liability:  We do need a physical signature from everyone participating in the Peach Days Race as per required by Brigham City.  As a result if you register online when it becomes available you will need to sign one when you get there.  This means a parent or guardian will need to sign it.  Thanks.

  • Online (You will need to create an account in runnercard.com to do this).  There are various option this year for the race.  They are as follows.
    • $22 without a shirt, with a finishers medal, plus processing fee.
    • $32 with a short sleeve tech shirt, a finishers medal, plus processing fee.
    • $34 with a long sleeve tech shirt, a finishers medal, plus processing fee.
    • $42 with a hoodie, a finishers medal, plus processing fee.
    • For those who register online you will pick up your race number and shirt on Saturday Morning September 7th from 6:45 am to 7:45 am.

  • Late/Day-Of Registration (Aug 19th- Sept 7th): 
    • $35 with Short sleeve Tech Shirt (August 19th - Sept 7th, shirts won't be guaranteed.)
    • $25 without Shirt
    • Race Day registration will start at 6:45 am. Registration will close at 7:45 am
  • ***Other Important Information***
    • There are only 300 finisher medals to be handed out to everyone who participates.  The race will close at 300.***
    • Register by August 19th to guarantee a shirt size of your choice.***
    • On August 19th at 9 am the long sleeve option and hoodie option will also disappear.***
    • Beginning at 9 am on August 19th, registration prices will start to increase. There will be a graduated registration fee, the longer you wait the more it costs. Please sign up early.***
  • Explanation for the higher costs.
    • A) As part of the registration fee, we are excited to be able to give each racer a finishers medal.
    • B) Over the years we have tried to keep the costs affordable. Unfortunately, this year we have had to increase the cost of racers wanting to purchase a shirt. There are now 3 different shirt options, each at different price levels.
    • C) The race is acting as a fundraiser for the BEHS cross country teams and FBLA club. Without the help of these students, this race wouldn't be possible.

Awards: We will do Overall places for 1st-3rd place for the Boy's and Girl's for 6th-8th grade.  Prize Drawing.

Age divisions: No age divisions.  Overall medals only.

Course Directions 

Start line: In front of City Center Plaza at 58 North Main Street 

  • Head south on main.
  • Circle around cone about 250 south main street and then head back north on main.
  • Run past the start line and then around a cone then back to the finish line.
  • The finish line will be by the start line.

For the Parents

Parking:  Parking is extremely limited in Downtown Brigham City because of Peach Days activities.  There are parking restrictions for the race. 


You are not allowed to park in the following places:

  • Main Street or in parking lots with main street access only
  • In the Hampton Inn parking lot
  • City Offices Parking Lot (20 North Main Street)
  • Parking lot south of the county courthouse
You can park:
  • Box Elder County Justice Court and Motor Vehicle building parking lot (accessed from 100 west) across the street from the academy building
  • Along 1st east and 1st west (legal street parking only)
Picking up Bib Number: You can pick up the bib number either Friday Night from 5-6 pm at Box Elder High School in F-Hall.  That is the building by the parking lot on the north side.  YOu could also pick up the bib numbers from 645 am to 755 am the morning of the race at the academy building.

New This Year Shuttle:  There is a shuttle from 7 to 730 but i would be at the USU parking lot eearly to make sure you get to the start line early.
